What can be done:

Spelling corrections (minor):

• Visit booking station's reservation office.
• Submit ID proof and request.
• Free correction usually allowed.

Major name change (different person):

• Not allowed under normal rules.
• Only allowed for immediate family transfer (see Transfer Ticket FAQ).
• Otherwise: cancel and rebook.

Age modification:

• Online: not possible.
• Reservation office: allowed with age proof.

Address / contact:

• Updated in IRCTC profile, applies to future bookings only.

Always double-check passenger details before paying — most issues come from typos at booking time.
