सीनियर सिटिज़न कंसेशन 2020 में बंद कर दिया गया था। वर्तमान में भारतीय रेलवे किराया कंसेशन नहीं देता, लेकिन सीनियर सिटिज़न कोटा से लोअर बर्थ की प्राथमिकता मिलती है।

Important update: The 50% (women 58+) and 40% (men 60+) senior citizen fare concession was suspended in March 2020 and has not been restored.

However, the Senior Citizen Quota still exists:

Reserves a small number of lower berths per train.
Priority for passengers aged 60+ (men) and 58+ (women).
Mention age during booking.
Carry valid age proof (Aadhaar, PAN, etc.) at travel.

Quota size is limited (~6 lower berths per train in SL/3A class).

For concession status updates, check official IRCTC announcements — there have been multiple petitions to restore it.
