Premium Tatkal:
- Dynamic pricing — fare rises every few seats sold.
- No waitlist — only confirmed.
- Cancellation: limited / no refund.
- Quota size: smaller (~5-10% per coach).
Choose Premium Tatkal if:
- You absolutely need to travel that day
- You're booking very early in the window
Choose Regular Tatkal if:
- Some flexibility on date / class
- You're price-sensitive
- Willing to risk TQWL
Tip: Check both quotas right after window opens. Sometimes regular Tatkal sells out faster (lower price) and Premium remains.
