Flushed PNR = the PNR has been removed from active records.
Reasons:
- The journey was completed more than 9 months ago.
- The ticket was cancelled and the record purged.
- IRCTC retains PNR data for only ~9 months for active queries.
Implication:
- You cannot check status of a flushed PNR.
- For old journey records, contact IRCTC customer support.
- For warranty / claim purposes, retain ticket PDF / booking email.
If you see "Flushed PNR" for a recent booking, double-check the PNR digits — most likely a typo.
