All PNR status codes explained

Complete PNR status codes:

Confirmed:

• CNF/B2/45/LB — Confirmed, Coach B2, Berth 45, Lower Berth

Pending Confirmation:

• RAC 12 — Reservation Against Cancellation, position 12
• WL 25 — Generic Waitlist, position 25

Waitlist types (lower number = higher chance):

• GNWL — General WL (highest priority)
• PQWL — Pooled Quota WL (intermediate stations)
• TQWL / CKWL — Tatkal Quota WL
• RLWL — Remote Location WL
• LDWL — Ladies WL
• HOWL — High Officials WL
• RSWL — Roadside Quota WL

Other:

• CAN / CAN/MOD — Cancelled / Cancelled and Modified
• MOD — Modified (boarding change, etc.)
• NOSB — No Seat / Berth allotted (rare)
• Released — auto-released after no-show
• FLUSHED — record removed (>9 months old)
