What is form PCFB / Booking against concession?

PCFB (Passenger Concession Form for Booking) is a form used to book tickets under approved concession schemes (PwD, medical patients, etc.). Submit at booking station with required certificates and ID.

Used when booking tickets under any approved concession scheme.

When to use:

  • Persons with disabilities
  • Cancer / TB / heart patients
  • Athletes / coaches
  • War widows
  • Other approved categories

Process:

  1. Visit booking station's reservation office.
  2. Get the PCFB form at the counter (or download from IRCTC).
  3. Fill passenger details and concession category.
  4. Attach required documents (PwD card, hospital certificate, etc.).
  5. Submit with ticket booking request.
  6. Concessional fare ticket issued.

Note: Most concessions are NOT available online on IRCTC (with some PwD exceptions). Counter booking required.

Documents must be carried at travel time too.
