- Third-party trackers (where2trip, RailYatri, ixigo)
What to enter:
- Train number (e.g., 12309)
What you see:
- Current location (on map or station list)
- Last station passed
- Expected arrival/departure at upcoming stations
- Delay information per station
- Platform number (at upcoming station)
GPS source: Indian Railways uses GPS-based tracking on most major trains. Updates roughly every 1-2 minutes.
Tip for boarding: Check status at least 1 hour before scheduled time — the train may be delayed.
